We celebrated the 4th with my family on the 2nd. My dad was on call on the 4th but still wanted to get everyone together for a BBQ and fireworks. We had a really great time just hanging out. When the fireworks came out Abby hated them. She tried to cover her ears and her eyes all at the same time. We even tried headphones and moving far away but in the end she was inside watching with her ears still covered. On the actual 4th we headed
to Turlock with some friends for a BBQ. The kids swam, the guys played horseshoes, and the girls talked. We ended up driving over to the college to watch fireworks. Abby loved those. They were far away and weren't too loud. They had awesome fireworks and just when we thought they were over they would start up again.
